P1 Registration Timeline
For children born between 2 January 2020 and 1 January 2021. The 2026 exercise opened on 30 June 2026.
What changes from the 2027 exercise
- Phase 2C reserved places rise from 40 to 60. Schools with a P1 intake below 180 keep 40.
- Phase 2C runs on a Two-Track scheme at 12 schools where public housing is under 40% of dwelling units within 2km.
- Inside a track there is no home-school distance priority, so living within 1km no longer ranks ahead of 1–2km. Singapore Citizens across both tracks are admitted before any PR.
- Phase 2B stays at 20 reserved places. Phases 1, 2A, 2C(S) and 3 are unchanged.
- The 2026 exercise is not affected by these changes.

Important Notes
- ✓Registration is online via the MOE P1 Registration Portal.
- ✓Priority is given by home-to-school distance: under 1km first, then 1–2km, then over 2km.
- ✓Singapore Citizens get priority over Permanent Residents in balloting.
- ✓International students follow a separate registration process.
- ✓Exact dates are announced by MOE around April/May each year.
- ✓Phase 2C exception: from the 2027 exercise, Two-Track schools ballot within distance tracks, so there is no 1km priority inside a track.
